Are you interested in how to make your own website? Do the words "make website" play over and over in your mind at night? Okay, so perhaps you're not going overboard with the idea, but you do want to make a personal or business site. We'll show you the ropes. These are the first steps you should take to make a great website. You don't need to become an instant genius at HTML, Flash or Java programming (all of which vary in degree of difficulty). You just need to get a good program (and there are some great ones that are free) that can teach you how to make a website. Better yet, get a free program that makes a website easily for you. There are fine programs such as Dreamweaver, from Macromedia (a free trial version of which you can download from the Macromedia site), that allow you to make your website easily and painlessly. Now that you have a way to make content, you can obtain a free web hosting account for a very low price - or for free as well! In fact, why not try a free solution first, and then move to a more expensive one if you absolutely need to? You'll get at least 25 MB (megabytes) of web space for free with a few basic perks from several different hosting providers. After setting up your site and signing up for hosting, all you need is to watch over your site's performance with free or cheap monitoring software. The challenge of making a website is practically its own reward. We hope you enjoy the finished product!
